About
Hello. I'm zaaarf, a software developer based in Italy. Perhaps someday I'll write a more detailed introduction, but for now here's a tl;dr:
- I'm a software developer/engineer.
- Or at least that's how I think of myself.
- I'm in my 20s.
- I'm a Computer Engineering student at a local University.
- I love programming: it's the perfect cross between hobby and work.
- I mostly worked with Java, Rust and Python, lately with C++, but I also know a bit of most other mainstream languages.
- I enjoy learning new things, doesn't really matter how useless they are to me.
- As a matter of fact, I'm a fast learner, granted that it's something I'm actually interested in.
- I dabble in a number of other subjects, most of whom are found extremely tedious by other people. Notably:
- Reading and writing (in human languages, to clarify).
- Other than my native Italian, I'm good with English, and I'm learning Japanese.
- I promise muh animu were only a relatively small part of my reasons to start.
- History (especially the Middle Ages).
- Electronics (I especially have a soft spot for retro game consoles).
- Pretend for grown-ups (also known as tabletop RPGs).
- Videogames (though not as much as one would think looking at my repos).
- i use arch btw
- ...on one machine, that is. The other one is Windows, for a variety of reasons.
