Hello. I'm zaaarf, a software developer based in Italy. Perhaps someday I'll write a more detailed introduction, but for now here's a tl;dr:

• I'm a software developer and engineer.
• I'm in my 20s.
• I love programming: it's the perfect cross between hobby and work.
  • Java and Rust are my main languages, but I have worked with Python, C++, Go, PHP and most other mainstream ones.
• I enjoy learning new things, doesn't really matter how useless they are to me.
  • As a matter of fact, I'm a fast learner, granted that it's something I'm actually interested in.
• I dabble in a number of other subjects, most of whom are found extremely tedious by other people. Notably:
  • Reading and writing (in human languages, to clarify).
  • Other than my native Italian, my English is pretty good (duh), and I'm learning Japanese.
  • I enjoy reading about history.
    • I specifically have a fascination with the Middle Ages, but I'm not picky.
  • Electronics (I especially have a soft spot for retro game consoles).
  • Pretend for grown-ups (also known as tabletop RPGs).
  • Videogames (though not as much as one would think looking at my repos).
    • Someday, I'd like to get into the world of game development. But, for now, just amateur stuff.
